Being a man who thinks for himself…

Being a man who thinks for himself will cause external tension; being a man who doesn't will cause internal tension. If you are at the crossroads of trying to balance both sides, you will exhaust yourself and never be honest with yourself or anyone else. 

Speaking the truth is freeing of the burden of creating and spreading poison. As terrible as it sounds to do such things as a lie, mislead, or manipulate, we know it is a risk, to be honest, and it is a risk to speak the truth; something being true doesn't mean it will be accepted, and that is what truth seekers and speakers need to accept as well. 

Speak the truth regardless; seek it; it won't be easy, and others will respect it. To speak the truth now is now an act of rebellion. Nothing annoys a liar more than simple truth; often, the response to simple answers is that they are too simple. 

Men now may need to become patriots of truth, regardless of how terrible or beautiful it may be. Do that consistently. Before throwing truth bricks through glass doors, let us begin with ourselves.
