Article: Ego is not the enemy, lack of controlling it is.

Ego is not the enemy, lack of controlling it is.

Ego is not the enemy, lack of controlling it is.

Ego is not the enemy, lack of controlling it is.

Aurelius Kadzius

Ego in men with no self-awareness or self-control can destroy friendships, business partnerships, and relationships of all kinds. A man who lets his ego rule him will plateau quickly in any pursuit, for he will never enter the unknown, which is chaos. Entering chaos will require a man to muster as much courage and strength as possible.

Do not kill your ego. If winning doesn't matter because your ego is dead, let's say. How would it affect your perception of winning and losing? Why compete in anything or compete for a better job, home, and income?

Why strive to be better, better for who, better why, for yourself or others, in service of others men love praise or acknowledgment; is ego asking for a thank you or a pat on the back for good works? Is it ego to believe men can help anyone when it is a man who cannot help himself?

Is it ego for a man to find a purpose in life? Is it ego to believe he can contribute to the world with his presence and purpose?

A common saying "I never lose; I learn,"  however, if a man doesn't learn and loses again, he loses twice, right? With that phrase in mind. Does this mean without an ego, a man can never lose again? No, it doesn't.

This sentiment is more about the mindset and not the reality of loss. It is more about continuing in fierce pursuit after losing. Is it egotistic to say that you have no ego?

Should men have no self-confidence? What about pride in his appearance, his physical strength? Should mentors and teachers feel no pride in their students when they succeed, learn something in a class, or have a breakthrough in their process?

The death of a man's ego will affect all those things. Every man has an ego, but when the ego is discussed, what men are talking about is called egotism.

Egotism - the practice of talking and thinking about oneself excessively because of an undue sense of self-importance.

Synonyms - Self-centeredness, selfishness, narcissism, vanity, conceit, boastfulness. Everyone knows this man of egotism, do your best not to become him, but understand we are all capable of becoming him.
