Faith & Courage

Have courage in your faith & faith in your courage..

Each waters the other; drinking from both will support those around you and you. Both your Courage & Faith will be called upon in a mythical fashion.

Men know it, we don’t like to think about it much, but the moment will come if it has not arrived at your doorstep already.

An event, choice, or moment of change will challenge your perception of what you thought you could and could not do, and how the world is and is not.

It is always easy to look at the rising sun and see good faith remove the dark from the land as long shadows grow small.

It may be my favorite thing to watch the shadows retreat as the light of the sun reveals the truth of what is there. I would often watch the sunrise in Joshua Tree.

Never did I think it was not worth my time to wake up at 3 am, drive for an hour, and venture into the pitch-black desert on my weekend.

Patiently wait for the sun’s light to reveal these mountain ridges that resemble a sleeping dragon’s back, or boulders that appear like giant orcs standing in the darkness.

It is in the “waiting” that men will lose faith, and soon after, the courage goes along with it.

Do not let waiting for the outcome discourage your faith; men have courage that it will be as it should be, he said.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you”

-Mathew 17:20
