The great foe of man, doubt, the great unknown that is the dark. It is getting through the darkness and doubt and seeing those things as gifts, not curses. 

It is a talent to see it as an unknown designed for you specifically to be endured and overcome. 

Freezing at the prospect of not being in control of an outcome is the test. What will men do? Will they tuck tail and run? I cannot predict it, and each man faces his dark, unknown hell. 

It is dark, and the first step into courage is the choice to be no longer silent, speak, and move in the direction of the dark. 

Do not allow the darkness of your past or your family's past to chase you for the rest of your life. Stand, open your eyes, and take a step forward. On trembling legs, men can still face their darkness and live after the dark as free men.
