Look up, walk in the light of day, and do everything that evil hates.

There is an enemy men fight that is nameless, faceless, and comes slithering in when weakness in our armor is evident.

Whispering something to soothe our discomfort when we are at the tipping point of doing something disruptive or destroying some good we have done or even good in ourselves. 

In a hushed and pleasing tone, it speaks, 

"Go on..Go on... It will feel good. They don't understand how you endured. Get some relief. You deserve it. 

They have no right to judge you. They all do it. They all steal, lie, cheat, lust, and lose heart. You are no different. You are a man, aren't you? 

So go on. You only live once. What's a little vice on your way to your death."

It pauses. It waits to see our movement. What will our choice be? 

Will men resist the ease at which we destroy our hope for something better and more extensive than ourselves? 

It is paused, and still as stone, it waits to see where men will leap. Will it be a leap towards faith or a plunge into darkness? Time will tell. 

If evil were a manifestation of anything, it would be something or anything that distracts or derails a man off the tracks from god, his work, his children, his wife, his brothers, and his friends. Look up and walk in the light of day, and do everything that evil hates
