Men Are Made to Live

Men are not created to last. We are made to live. 

A bored man will get into all kinds of trouble to wake his spirit up. 

The like the boy he was, climbing trees in his youth and falling out of them. When he was “grounded,” he would climb kitchen cabinets or build couch forts and want to act out battles, going full speed down the giant hill in the neighborhood on his bike with a massive smile on his face. 

Man’s spirit is wild; it wants to know and feel the unknown the danger, even at the risk of losing our front teeth, or a broken limb, or a relationship. 

We desire the danger like the cure for something that we have been told since we were boys, to subdue, be still, be quiet, and play nice. 

Perhaps we are tired of being playing nice too, or we are just bored with it.
