Pursue What Is Good and Resist the World

Man must pursue what is good, pure, and authentic while resisting being dominated by the world.

What could we be talking about resisting? Here is a quote from a man you may have heard of.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.” 

1 Corinthians 6:12 - Paul 

Resisting the distraction of these modern times, every noise, click, scroll, YouTube rabbit hole, women, sex, drink, and food are gifts, but misused can be the weaknesses of men. 

They are exposed when we try and fast from all the things we find ourselves submitting to more than we would like to admit. 

In relief from the present struggle of facing the conflict of being alive and leaning into the idea and possible truth that God wants you to be great at being a man. 

To continue resisting the urges of the world tossed across a man’s path, we have to pursue the goodness of man and God.
