No storm, no thunder, no lightning.
No storm, no thunder, no lightning.
Pleasant days are great, and some more so than others, but man, do I sometimes desire a storm so big that the sight of it approaching fear wouldn't quite capture the feeling.
A trembling the roots of a man, as you step into it, you are a grain of sand in a sand storm, a white cap in a monsoon. If there is any in it, its glory is to survive it, all mangled, bruised and bleeding, stepping into its calm, apparent escape.
Perhaps it is just my need to do something stupid/dangerous. If I desire to do something like that, I do not doubt that other men are looking to fulfill the same need.
Being careful about what we ask for is important; God has never let me down when I request to experience danger or foolishness.
Or he knows we desire a great storm with thunder and lightning.
