The Desire to Self-Destruct Isn’t Rare in Men

The desire to self-destruct isn’t rare in men; what is rare is the acknowledgment that it exists.

Aurelius Kadzius

Being capable of both destruction and creation, the duality of a man’s existence, alone moving and crossing these lines in our daily interactions with our movements, thoughts, and others’ lives.

Standing on a mobile platform, we aim the first two arrows in opposing directions. Being men of commitment, we do not wait for them to return to us while counting the days.

We choose to allow the arrow of creation or the pursuit of the good to kill us or the arrow of destruction to pierce us, so we end ourselves.

Both will kill a man; one will be remembered as honorable and having a higher calling than the other. Again, choose wisely.
