Truth becomes a way to live for men looking for something real. It may be why a man desires to wake up and face the day again. To meet the truth about our actions, mistakes, and past and present. 

It is a handful of cool spring water after a weary journey on foot across the desert of lies. The sweetness of it is not the taste; it is the extinguishing of the thirst for it, at least for the moment. 

A man's truths about himself need to be proved again and again, and it is the way of it. Others are true whether you choose to believe them or not and do not require a man's belief in them to exist. They just are. 

If men are to be addicted to anything, it should be to live and seek the truth. The truth of things, existence, love, strength, courage, glory, and god, and like these truths, feel no guilt when seeking them out. Let them be your weapon against sweet-tasting but empty lies.
