The Weapon of Tolerance

Tolerance is a weapon coated in sweet, sugary acceptance.

Those asking and pleading for tolerance display little to none for those who give it. To ask for something and not give it in return, especially a virtue like “Tolerance,” is to come as a deceiver, a snake, one who bites that hand that feeds it.

The overly tolerant men will say, “Don’t hate and curse the snake while you let it into your home; let it warm itself and regain its strength.” Only to bite you as its form of thanks.

Pleading that you don’t bash its head in with a shovel because “You don’t understand its nature.” “It just misunderstood, is all.”

Mostly, strong men will be asked to cool the ambers of their anger for such disrespect. This will last until the “Overly Tolerant” are bitten too, perhaps more then once.

By then, overly tolerant men had opened the gates to all the snakes, and here you are, getting bit, wondering how this happened. Who allowed this? You did, my overly tolerant friend, and you were so righteous and committed that you believed your tolerance would change them to be as you are, but all you got was bitten and poisoned for your troubles.  

Overly tolerant men have no boundaries; all is acceptable, and no discernment of their own. They stand for everything, and by doing so, they stand for nothing.

They are trusting the judgment of others when these “others” can’t even decide anything without being led by their emotions. Walling out cries like children in a tantrum.
