The Weight of a Man’s Words

The words men use carry the weight of creation or destruction.

A man who speaks from the heart has the attention of those around him. To talk to another is to be present with them, and the impact of that interaction can create the spirit of hope, courage, and grace or destruction, shame, and fear. 

The damage a man's silence can create is more significant than the spoken word because silence is usually seen as consent to any evil around you. 

Idle talk is defined as words of no particular purpose, lazy, providing no richness to the exchange in conversation, not useful, or not based on fact. It can be identified as rumors. 

Keep your mind away from idle thoughts and idle talk. It will lead to nothing and create a path of mental masturbation. Feels good for a split second and produces nothing.

If you are a man with something to share, teach, and guide, and that is all men that read, write, think, and create, you have something to offer. Let it be clear, and let it be something good.
